Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information the RA Coaching app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. RA Coaching is a private personal-training app used by the coach and the clients he trains.

Information we collect

We only collect what is needed to provide coaching. This includes:

• Account details: your name and email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Health and fitness profile: date of birth, sex, height, weight, body measurements, training goals, injuries, health background, medical conditions, medications, dietary notes, and emergency contact details that you choose to provide.
• Progress photos: images you upload to track your progress.
• Training activity: session bookings, attendance, nutrition plans, and reward points.
• Payment records: the coaching packages assigned to you and their amounts and status, so your coach can keep his own billing records. Payments themselves are handled directly with your coach; the app does not collect or store card or bank details.
• Notification token: a device token used to send you push notifications.
• Basic app data: limited technical information needed to operate the service reliably.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account.
• To deliver coaching: schedule and manage sessions, build your nutrition and training plans, and track your progress.
• To send you notifications about your sessions, plans, and rewards.
• To let your coach keep accurate records of packages and payments.
• To keep the app secure and working correctly.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising or third-party tracking.

Legal basis for processing

Where data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of the agreement to provide you coaching services (contract) and, for health and progress-photo information, your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us or deleting your account.

How your data is stored and protected

Your data is stored using Supabase, a hosting and database provider, on servers located in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to your coach and the systems needed to run the app. Push notifications are delivered through Expo. These providers act as our service providers and process data only to operate the app.

Data retention and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: go to Profile → Delete account and confirm with your password.

When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data, including your contact details, health and fitness profile, progress photos, notification token, and login access. Your future sessions are cancelled and your login is permanently disabled.

For legitimate accounting and tax purposes, your coach may retain a record of payments made, together with the name associated with them. This retained record contains no other personal information about you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is inaccurate. Most profile details can be edited directly in the app.
• Delete your account and personal data (see above).
• Request a copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent for health and progress-photo data.

Push notifications

If you allow notifications, we use your device token to send updates about your coaching. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Children

RA Coaching is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 16, and minors should only use it under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated within the app where appropriate.
